VENTURE CAPITAL FUNDS AS AN EFFECTIVE SOURCE OF FINANCE OF TRANSPORT’ COMPANIES

ABSTRACT The idea of the paper is to present the new source of finance enterprises taking up by transport companies. The changes in investor’s market during the transportation period in Central and Eastern countries create such possibilities of development. The changes were rapid ones and influenced on the construction logistic and investment market very much. Generally most transport companies suffered from the drop of investment, profitability was on very low level because of know-how’s management lack. Nowadays there are taking new enterprises in private company’s logistics centers that is why a lot of them looking for new sources of finance. One of financial sources could be a venture capital funds which effectively invest in transport companies. The main aim of the paper is to present some examples of such financial support.
