The 2nd Lloyd’s List Energy Shipping Conference 2010 [ http://www.informaglobalevents.com/nl/515461356a56596178666f3d/696763504a48524c4838493d], organised by informa maritime events, will take place in Athens on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 December. A workshop will follow on Friday 3 December 2010 (workshop details below).

Led by senior executives from Dryad Maritime Intelligence Service, this practically focused workshop will address security risks for energy shipping including the risk of terrorist attack against tankers or gas carriers and energy port terminals. Also, the increasing trend for armed robbery at sea or in straits, piracy as well as the importance / limitations of the ISPS Code and the role of new security information tools.
